We heard from leaders of work packages, discussing communications efforts to promote the projects’ work, data sharing and GDPR compliance, steps towards analysing data from participating countries, and guidelines and solutions for building resilient organ donation and transplant systems. Importantly, we closed the meeting with a discussion on the coherence of BRAVEST’s conceived guidelines to legal and ethical frameworks to ensure project output sustainability.
Partners who were present in Pariz in person also had the privilege of visiting the ABM national allocation centre, where monitoring and allocation of organs to recipients takes place. They saw their incredible work, with real-time boards of available organs across France – crucial work that saves lives every day.
We sencerely thank partners Samiel Arrabal, Blandine Derycke and the ABM team for their hospitality.
