This year, 39 doctors and only a few nurses took part in the course. Most of them were specialists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, some of them working in the national programme TeleStroke. Most of the lecturers were domestic professionals, mostly from the Slovenija-transplant Institute and employees of the national donor network. Innovations in the field of donation after circulatory criteria were the domain of the Spanish experts. Slovenia has yet to implement the DCD programme in clinical practise.
